About the Role As a Mid‑Level Automotive Technician at Goodyear, you will diagnose technical issues and deliver outstanding service in an automotive service center. The role requires mechanical aptitude, customer service skills, and adherence to safety and company policies. Brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation. Provide excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback. Document all work performed on repair orders and report safety issues. Mentor junior automotive technicians and promote teamwork. Adhere strictly to company policy on vehicle care and operation. Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting. Requirements Minimum 1 year automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance. Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 18. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Commitment to learning new technologies and following safety policies. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. ASE Certification. Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests. Experience with electrical, air conditioning, and advanced fuel ignition systems.
