Role Description The Nurse Practitioner role is a part-time, on-site position based in Fort Collins, CO. Xanadu Med Spa is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to lead the clinical delivery of our established medical weight-management program while managing and strengthening our existing peptide and longevity platform and helping rebuild momentum in hormone health. The immediate need is focused and practical: provide excellent care to an existing weight-management patient population, ensure consistent follow-up and medication management, oversee current peptide patients, and support the thoughtful growth of clinically grounded longevity care. The Nurse Practitioner will perform medical assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver aesthetic and wellness procedures in alignment with established protocols and client goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, educating clients on treatment options and aftercare, monitoring progress and outcomes, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. The role also involves collaborating with other clinical team members, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and supporting a high-quality, client-centered experience. Primary Program: Medical Weight Management

• Lead the day-to-day clinical management of Xanadu’s established medical weight-management program and current patient panel.
• Complete initial consultations, medical screening, treatment planning, medication selection, prescribing, and ongoing clinical monitoring.
• Manage GLP-1 and other appropriate therapies, including titration, side-effect management, plateaus, medication transitions, discontinuation, and maintenance planning.
• Support patients with nutrition, hydration, movement, sleep, behavior change, muscle preservation, and long-term weight sustainability.
• Use body-composition and progress data to guide care and communicate meaningful outcomes beyond the number on the scale.
• Help improve follow-up consistency, patient engagement, retention, refill workflows, and the overall quality and reliability of the program.
• Coordinate clinically appropriate opportunities with Xanadu’s body-contouring, muscle-building, skin-health, and aesthetic resources without allowing commercial considerations to override clinical judgment.

Second Platform: Peptide Therapy, Longevity & Preventive Wellness

• Provide individualized peptide, wellness, and longevity consultations focused on metabolic health, healthy aging, vitality, recovery, body composition, aesthetic wellness, risk reduction, and quality of life.
• Evaluate relevant medical history, medications, laboratory findings, lifestyle, nutritional, hormonal, and body-composition factors and develop practical, individualized plans of care.
• Prescribe, manage, and monitor peptide and adjunctive wellness therapies currently offered by the practice, including therapies used to support appropriate GLP-1 journeys and broader aesthetic, recovery, metabolic, and healthy-aging goals.
• Manage ongoing care for patients using therapies such as NAD+, GHK-Cu, BPC-157, and other approved protocols, recognizing that available therapies and clinical guidance may evolve.
• Educate patients regarding appropriate use, administration, realistic expectations, potential risks, side effects, treatment duration, follow-up requirements, and circumstances in which therapy should be adjusted or discontinued. Maintain current knowledge of evolving evidence, safety considerations, availability, and regulatory guidance related to peptide and longevity therapies. Help clarify and refine Xanadu’s longevity pathway so that it remains clinically responsible, understandable to patients, and operationally sustainable.

Strategic Rebuilding Opportunity: Hormone Health

• Help re-establish and grow a stronger hormone-health program for appropriate female and male patients.
• Evaluate symptoms, history, risk factors, and laboratory findings related to perimenopause, menopause, androgen concerns, metabolic health, sexual wellness, and quality-of-life concerns within the provider’s training and scope.
• Develop, prescribe, and monitor individualized hormone-related treatment plans under approved protocols, including ongoing safety monitoring and patient education regarding risks, benefits, alternatives, and expectations.
• Create reliable follow-up, laboratory-review, renewal, and communication processes that support safe longitudinal care and patient confidence.

Additional Growth Areas These areas are opportunities as opposed to immediate expectations. They may be evaluated and introduced selectively as clinical evidence, regulation, patient interest, staffing capacity, and program economics support them:

• Expanded preventive, metabolic, and healthy-aging programs beyond Xanadu’s current peptide and longevity services
• Nutritional or injectable wellness support
• Sexual-health and healthy-aging services
• Advanced metabolic or body-composition programs
• Other evidence-informed, medically directed wellness or longevity services approved by the Medical Director

Clinical Leadership & Program Development

• Serve as an on-site clinical resource and liaison for medical weight management, peptide therapy, longevity, hormone health, and related wellness services.
• Partner with the Medical Director and owner to develop, refine, and periodically review protocols, screening criteria, consent processes, follow-up standards, refill procedures, and escalation pathways.
• Review patient tracking, laboratory follow-up, retention, adverse events, outcomes, and other quality indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in staff education so the broader team can accurately explain programs, support patient follow-through, and recognize clinical red flags.
• Contribute to patient education, community events, partnerships, and medically responsible content when appropriate and within available hours.
• As the program grows, help evaluate new services, products, or pilot programs based on clinical value, workflow, patient demand, and financial sustainability.

Qualifications Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Colorado; national board certification preferred. Experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or related field; prior med spa or cosmetic procedure experience is highly beneficial. Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and performing minimally invasive procedures (e.g., injectables, laser treatments) in a safe and effective manner. Strong interpersonal, communication, and client education skills, with the ability to build trust and deliver a welcoming, professional experience. Commitment to continued education, staying current with aesthetic and wellness trends, technologies, and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and follow evidence-based protocols and clinic policies. Current BLS/CPR certification and familiarity with infection control, OSHA standards, and HIPAA compliance. Active DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one if required for assigned therapies Availability to work part-time on-site, including potential evenings or weekends based on client demand.
