We're seeking a Service Technician who has excellent customer service skills, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working on a team. Our dealership makes customer service a top priority so candidates must have a strong attention to detail and maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
• Test drive vehicles and testing components/systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc)
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements:

• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of Service Technician experience (preferred)
• Certified General Motors Technician
• ASE Certification (required)
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Basic Computer skills
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply
• Have a valid Iowa Driver's License and clean driving record
• Will submit to a drug and background screening prior to employment
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
