Registered Nurse - Acute Telemetry

Role Overview Responsible for providing independent, comprehensive nursing care in a specialized hospital setting, demonstrating clinical competence and managing patient needs effectively. The nurse assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social aspects. Delegates tasks appropriately to team members and ensures documentation of patient history, treatments, and education. Key Responsibilities Deliver routine and complex nursing care following the nursing process. Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor effects, and document care. Assess patient learning needs and provide education to patients and families. Demonstrate leadership by meeting organizational competencies and developing contingency management skills. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred. Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. ACLS certification required within a specified timeframe. Ability to attend orientation, complete competency validations, and participate in residency or onboarding programs. Additional Requirements Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment. Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills.
