You'll make an immediate impact by helping ensure materials are available to support efficient operations and business success.Qualifications:1+ year in shipping and receivingBasic experience with MS Suite applications including Word and OutlookExperience using an ERP systemJob Description:The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for providing reliable and timely support in various supply chain functions, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and process optimization.Responsibilities:Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.Oversee packaging, labeling, and documentation requirements for shipments.Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to negotiate rates and resolve any shipping issues.Implement procedures to track and trace shipments to minimize delays and disruptions.Develop and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize stockouts.Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock levels and prevent overstocking.Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and identify opportunities for improvement.Implement inventory management software systems to streamline processes and improve visibility.Kitting and issuing material to job orders for the assembly team.Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and implement solutions to address them.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standard operating procedures.Utilize ERP to identify trends and patterns that can inform decision-making and drive improvements.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fountain Valley, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
