Senior Product Manager- Accounts Payable Automation

Product Manager – AI Accounts Payable & Invoice Automation Overview The Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and requirements for an AI-powered Accounts Payable and invoice automation platform. Focus on improving finance operations through AI, automation, intelligent document processing, and workflow optimization. Work closely with Engineering, AI, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, and enterprise customers to develop and improve products. Apply strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), ERP systems, procurement, and financial workflows. Help design AI-powered workflows for invoice processing, PO matching, vendor management, financial coding, exception handling, and payments. Translate complex accounting policies, business rules, and financial controls into scalable product solutions. Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand business needs and identify opportunities for product improvements. Support product demonstrations, customer workshops, sales opportunities, product launches, and go-to-market activities. Help define how AI Agents can automate finance operations while maintaining accuracy, security, auditability, and financial controls. Own product strategy, roadmap, backlog, requirements, and prioritization. Develop AI-powered Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay solutions. Define workflows for invoice capture, document understanding, classification, validation, and exception management. Develop solutions for two-way and three-way PO matching and invoice reconciliation. Develop AI-driven financial coding, GL coding recommendations, cost center prediction, and accounting workflows. Design AI Agent workflows that reduce manual AP processing and improve automation. Partner with Engineering, AI Research, and Data Science teams on product development. Translate accounting policies, procurement rules, and internal controls into product requirements. Gather requirements directly from enterprise finance, AP, procurement, shared services, and BPO teams. Create user stories, product requirements, mockups, and product documentation. Manage the product backlog and execution using Jira. Define and monitor KPIs such as touchless processing, processing time, exception rates, matching accuracy, and duplicate payment prevention. Support enterprise sales through product demonstrations, customer workshops, and executive discussions. Maintain product demo environments, scenarios, and supporting materials. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and leadership on product launches and go-to-market initiatives. Product Manager Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of Product Management experience within enterprise finance technology or Enterprise SaaS. Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. Experience with one or more of the following: Accounts Payable Automation Procure-to-Pay Procurement Platforms Shared Services Financial Workflow Automation Experience building AI-enabled or workflow-driven enterprise software products. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance. Experience with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite. Experience working closely with Engineering, AI, and Data Science teams. Strong customer-facing and commercial product experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with AP platforms such as Coupa, SAP Concur, Ariba, Basware, Medius, AvidXchange, Esker, Bill.com, or Ramp is preferred. Experience with AI document processing, OCR, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), or Agentic AI is preferred.
