Contract (Immediate start through July 3, with possible extension) Job Summary Client is seeking 2 detail‑oriented and reliable Contract Billing Clerks to join our team in Springfield, MA. This role is ideal for candidates with strong accounting and Excel skills who can manage billing processes accurately and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform billing and accounting‑related tasks with a high level of accuracy. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Office tools for data tracking, reporting, and reconciliation. Process and review financial transactions and billing records. Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks. Collaborate with team members while also being able to work independently. Maintain professionalism in all communications and interactions. Ensure attention to detail in all financial documentation. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional experience in accounting, billing, or mathematics‑related roles. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. High level of professionalism and reliability. Preferred Qualifications Experience with State accounting systems and processes.
