Founded in 2006, OrthoPediatrics is an orthopedic company focused exclusively on advancing the field of pediatric orthopedics. As such it has developed the most comprehensive product offering to the pediatric orthopedic market to improve the lives of children with orthopedic conditions. OrthoPediatrics currently markets 53 products that serve three of the largest categories within the pediatric orthopedic market. This product offering spans trauma and deformity, scoliosis, and sports medicine/other procedures. OrthoPediatrics' global sales organization is focused exclusively on pediatric orthopedics and distributes its products in the United States and over 70 countries outside the United States.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the distribution warehouse while supporting quality and regulatory requirements and operational metrics. These activities include contributing to daily work, managing and leading warehouse employees in the receiving of goods, inventory management, and order fulfillment activities.

Essential Functions:

• Directly supervise distribution personnel, including assigning daily work, monitoring performance, providing coaching and training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop team capabilities through cross-training, workload balancing, and performance feedback.
• Manage customer backorders and order fulfillment priorities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory movements, picking, packing, shipping, set deployment support, and returns coordination.
• Allocate labor and resources to support operational priorities, project activities, and changing business demands.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and inventory control standards.
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for Customer Service and Logistics.
• Coordinate resources and timelines for operational projects, ERP/Business Central testing, process improvements, and new product launch support.
• Produce weekly and monthly KPI statistics and reports as required.
• Support 5S and supply-management activities

Supervisory Responsibilities: The role has direct reports.

Education and/or Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent. MRP or ERP experience required.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and other employees of the organization. Requires excellent grammar and spelling.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Requires a valid driver's license.

Other Skills and Abilities: Requires the ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment, such as a computer and keyboard, calculator, fax, photocopier, telephone, cell phone, etc. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
