Job Details Job Location: Hyatt Place Kent Narrows and Marina - Grasonville, MD 21638Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 SalaryWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Group Rooms Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for group room bookings at our hotel/venue. This role is responsible for generating group room business, managing bookings, and ensuring a seamless experience for group clients. The ideal candidate will be skilled in sales strategy, client relationship management, and achieving revenue goals. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that group reservations are handled efficiently and that clients receive excellent service. Manage the booking process for group room reservations, including contract negotiations and ensuring accurate documentation. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other key accounts to drive group room sales. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping) to ensure seamless group check-in/check-out and guest satisfaction. Monitor group room booking trends and performance to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs, resolving issues, and ensuring positive experiences. Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in catering sales or event management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing. Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet client needs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
