EHS Specialist

As our Safety & Environmental Specialist, you will champion a secure, accident-free manufacturing environment by directing health, safety, and environmental programs in strict compliance with OSHA and ISO-14001 standards. You will lead hazard inspections, accident investigations, and workers' compensation administration, while actively training staff in fire prevention, chemical handling, and 5S protocols. If you are a self-motivated professional with a safety mindset ready to oversee safety committees and maintain meticulous compliance records, we want you on our team! The ideal candidate can be entry-level with a recent Bachelor's degree in a related field OR a candidate with 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities

• Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations.
• Responsible for implementing ISO-14001 Environmental Standards and for maintaining those standards and all records associated.
• Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices such as: fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemicals.
• Prepares studies and analyses of industrial accident causes and hazards to health.
• Inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
• Leads the investigation of accidents and injuries and cooperates in the preparation of material and evidence
• Oversees the administration of Workers' Compensation program
