Data Support Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:Rochester Midland Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Support Specialist to assist with customer data management and record maintenance. This temporary role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with data, communicating with customers, and ensuring accuracy across systems.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Gather and input customer information into internal systemsContact customers via phone to obtain missing or updated informationResearch and collect relevant information from customer websitesMaintain and update customer records in Excel and the company’s ERP systemEnsure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all data entered EDUCATION/ SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION: Associates’ degree preferredSKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and basic data management Strong verbal and written communication skills Customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with customers High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Basic research and problem-solving abilitiesCOMPETENCIES: Inquisitive self-starterAbility to navigate ambiguityBusiness acumen / professionalEffective listeningPriority managementEffective communication and interpersonal skillsProblem SolvingPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
