Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting. Experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center. Teamwork mentality, with the ability to coach and provide feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: The facility is known for its commitment to positive impact and outstanding patient care. It has received numerous recognitions for clinical quality and safety. The emergency department is a busy area with a focus on teamwork and patient experience. Patient ratios are typically 4:1 and may go up to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Unit staffing includes support techs and clerks during day and night shifts. Advanced equipment is utilized, including cardiac monitoring systems. A documentation system is in place for efficient patient record management. Staff are required to adhere to a flexible scheduling policy and must work every other weekend. No floating outside of the emergency department is permitted, but flexibility to float within the department is expected. Candidates should be ready to meet established patient experience protocols.
