Job Description:
Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage on specific dates throughout the recruitment period. The role involves managing high-risk pregnancies, performing advanced procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, sonographers, and genetic counselors. The provider will support two sites St. Mary s Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center shared with another Fetal Maternal Medicine physician. The practice includes ultrasound, office-based procedures, and high-risk pregnancy management with a focus on complex cases requiring specialized care.


Schedule & Coverage Details:

• Open dates include: 05/08-05/15, 05/16-05/22, 05/26-05/31
• Average of 27 scheduled patients per day
• Typical high-risk pregnancy cases (95%) with a small proportion of low-risk cases (5%)
• No onsite lab; ultrasound available onsite
• Support staff includes RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, and front office team

Requirements:

• Experience in amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, pregnancy management, and high-risk obstetrics procedures
• Ability to work independently in a busy clinical setting
• Credentialing estimated to take approximately 90 days

Reimbursements: Facility will reimburse travel costs including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage billed at the IRS standard rate.
