Security Engineer - Systems Integrator

Responsibilities Configure, manage, and troubleshoot security platforms across client environments Support and optimize technologies including: SIEM / SOAR platforms XDR / MDR solutions Microsoft 365 Security Proofpoint Check Point Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for advanced security incidents and technical issues Analyze endpoint, network, and cloud security events to identify root causes Assist clients during troubleshooting calls and provide technical guidance Participate in customer-facing meetings to explain security technologies and best practices Mentor junior security analysts and engineers on tools, workflows, and procedures Document findings, remediation steps, and internal processes Collaborate with internal teams to improve security operations and service delivery Develop deeper expertise across multiple security disciplines over time Required Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), MSP, or cybersecurity support role Hands-on experience with: SIEM platforms Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR) Email security platforms DNS and internet protocols Microsoft 365 security tools Strong understanding of: DNS Business information systems Endpoint security Threat detection and response Experience troubleshooting complex security tools and configurations Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients Ability to explain technical security concepts in a business-friendly way Strong desire to learn and expand into additional security technologies Desirable Skills Experience in an MSP environment Familiarity with vulnerability management Exposure to sales engineering or pre-sales technical discussions Experience mentoring junior team members Security certifications such as: Security+ CySA+
