The client requires the services of 1 Data Analyst/Report Writer 3 who meets the general qualifications of Data Analyst/Report Writer 3 Category, SQL/Power BI and the specifications outlined below:

• Develops physical data models.
• Designs, creates, and maintains scalable data pipelines in Azure Data Factory that ingest and processes data from various sources.
• Executes the build, test, and deployment of full lifecycle solutions for ETL solutions.
• Works with the project team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
• Implements processes and solutions that ensure pipeline efficiency and monitor the data quality and pipeline status.
• Engages in best practices in data analytics and data engineering – including robust validation processes, testing/deployment procedures, version control and code integration, thorough documentation, and automation and streamlining of data processing pipelines.
• Analyzes technical issues, research available solutions, and make recommendations for integrating new solutions into existing environments.
• Prepares system documentation, develops standards and education for users.
• Assists with training users on software, including reporting on new features and enhancements.
• Dashboard mockup development and user validation in Power BI
• Acquires data from a variety of data sources for use by (Power BI) dashboards and reports.
• Connects Power BI data visualization objects to external data sources, including the testing and validation of the Powe BI object’s ability to connect.
• Collaborates with other members of the Team on the design and implementation of an optimal data design to support a reporting system.
• Testing, validation, and deployment of reports and Power BI objects into a production environment.
• The Report Writer will be required to comply with THECB data security policy.

Candidate skills and qualifications:

• 8 years required experience in data analysis and data modeling
• 8 years required experience creating, enhancing, refactoring SSIS packages and SQL Views
• 8 years required experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio
• 5 years required experience creating pipelines with Azure Data Factory and using Synapse
• 5 years required experience creating Power BI reports
• 3 years required
