Robotic Technician: Machine Tending

**RESPONSIBILITIES: **Robotic technicians operate automated CNC machines and welding systems, playing a key role in production support on shop floors. They work alongside engineers and production teams to fine-tune robotic positions keep systems running smoothly. Set up programs and maintain automated robotic systems up and running. Key duties include troubleshooting robots, controllers and performing preventative maintenance. The role requires proficiency in material handling robotic Nachi, Yaskawa Motoman and Fanuc programming, and safety protocols.Install, program, troubleshoot, adjust machine tending robots’ path and ensure part loadunload precisely into the CNC machines and welding equipment.Do monitor the machine tending automation, enhance the reliability and productivity ofrobotic equipment and meet production targetsTroubleshoot, program, and maintain robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.Setting up, calibrating, and testing robotic arms and sensorsPerforming regular preventive and predictive maintenance on robotic systemsUse tools like calipers and gauges. Document and report process variations or quality issues.Diagnose and fix issues with robots, systems and controllers to minimize downtime.Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment(PPE).Follow environmental guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspaceInterpret technical drawings and follow established procedures accuratelyAssist and train team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.QUALIFICATION AND KNOWLEDGE:A minimum of 3 years' experience with robotic systems like FANUC, OTC Daihen, Nachi, and Yaskawa MotomanExperience in programming multi-axis robotic systemsProven troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systemsExperience with CAD/CAM and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical controlsystems is a plusStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaborativelyWillingness to work overtime, including weekends and call-ins as requiredTechnical diploma or associate degree in robotics automationAbility to read and interpret technical documents like blueprints, prints, and check sheets.Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, standing, and other repetitive motions.Firm understanding of safety procedures, regulations including MIOSHA, Government andability to work in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work at a computer workstation using MS office Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong sense of time management and urgencyAbility to manage, navigate unexpected challenges with a focus to rapidly find solutionsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Sitting, squatting, walking, bending 8 –10 hours per dayMust be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.Must be able to work in different weather conditionsExposure to production environmentWORK ENVIRONMENT:This role functions in CNC machining, Robotic Welding and Assembly shopenvironmentThis role routinely uses standard and special purpose equipment such asAutomation, CNC machines, robots welding, assembly fixtures and toolsTechnicians often work in automated production cellsSAFETY REQUIREMENTS:Must wear Personal Protective Equipment when in a production areaFollow Safety protocol as per Company safety standards and MIOSHA regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
