Legal Entity: AECOM Technical Services Inc Business Line: Transportation Work Location Model: On-Site Primary Location: US - San Antonio, TX - 112 Pecan Str Compensation: USD 29 - USD 49 - hourly Job Description AECOM is seeking an Inspector III to work out of our San Antonio, TX office on an on-site basis. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. Performs field inspections and/or audit duties and maintains inspection records. Ensures all contract documents represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability in reading highway engineering construction plans. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Provides on the job training to new employees. Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records. Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning. Tracks quality assurance progress. Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: HS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. A valid driver’s license. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Working knowledge of TxDOT plans and specifications. OSHA 10 Certification. ACI Concrete Field Technician Certification. TEEX Work Zone Traffic Control Certification. Many or all of the TxDOT EMS Certifications or equivalent SWP3 Certifications. Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
