Position Details

We are seeking an experienced clinician for a night shift position at a long-term care center located in Vestal, NY. This facility provides comprehensive care, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and memory care services.

Shift Information

• Shift Type: Night shift, 3x12-hour (18:45 - 07:15)
• Weekend Requirement: Must be open every other weekend, based on center requests
• Attendance Requirement: Clinicians are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift and stay 15 minutes after.

Facility Overview

This facility is a state/government-run long-term care center with a capacity of 300 beds. The staff-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:18-20, focusing primarily on Alzheimer's and dementia care.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing settings is required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Licensing: NY State License is mandatory at the time of submission.
• First-time Travelers: Accepted.

Additional Requirements

• RTO (Request Time Off) must be approved at the time of submission; no approvals will be granted after an offer is made.
• All callouts must be provided with ample notice, no less than 24 hours prior to the shift.
• Modules required for compliance must be completed within a specific timeframe following the offer acceptance.

Work Environment

Professional Expectations
