Annual Salary: $74,000

Duties & Responsibilities

• Actively manages the QA process, establishes a QA plan, implements strategies and interventions resulting in measurable increased performance of services provided by DWD. Responsible for producing monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Review enrollment applications for accuracy and provide constructive feedback to staff on submissions. May be required to review Individual Training Accounts (ITA) as needed.
• Participates in reviews and analyses as a subject matter expert, serving as a resource to all Denver Eckerd staff including Denver Economic Development and Opportunity (DEDO) Continuous Quality Assurance (DEDO CQA) as applicable.
• Promotes and participates in agency-wide continuous quality improvement initiatives, as well as accreditation maintenance as it relates to WFD processes and QA policies.
• Responsible for the review and implementation of DEDO policies, procedures and associated forms as they relate to WIOA and other grants which will be integrated into the QA plan.
• Responsible for the lead role for yearly Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) and City and County of Denver monitoring as required.
• Maintain proficiency in Connecting Colorado to effectively provide technical assistance and training to support, prepare for, coordinate and analyze the results of a minimum of 10% of internal reviews and external monitoring's as required.
• Coaches, mentors and develops direct reports; ensuring the department is able to respond to current and future growth and challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• 2-3 years of experience working in Workforce Development and the various programs under WIOA and other grants, one year of which must be handling quality assurance/quality improvement. Minimum of one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Possess knowledge of statutes, contract terms and Quality Improvement. Ability to lead, team build and develop effective presentations.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Must be able to meet requirements for Eckerd Connects' Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes. M

Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, partnerships, and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities. We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop, convene, or implement industry or sector partnerships.
