This position will also be answering phone calls and handling customer service responsibilities by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Handles all needs and issues customers may have and deals with them accordingly to ensure customer satisfaction.Accurately process sales, returns, layaways, and special orders thru the Point of Sales system.Accurate data entry of all Firearm sales according to ATF guidelines and procedures.Ability to communicate to management regarding issues that need to be addressed.Responsible for promoting a positive culture within the department/store.Answers incoming phone calls and routes them accordingly to the necessary departments.Operates ODNR licensing.Examines merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised.Responsible for processing and receiving payments and issuing receipts to customers as they leave with their purchases.Provides customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.Assists with inventory to and from the warehouse, and sales floor.Performs work activities such as cleaning and organizing shelves and displays and selling merchandise.Enforces safety, health, and security rules.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.All other duties as required by management.COMPETENCIES:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:IntellectualAnalytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information;
