Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid - Onsite Mondays; remote Tuesday-Friday)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM CST
Position Type: Contract

Position Summary

We are hiring an IAP Support Specialist to support an Insurance Assistance Program that helps eligible individuals maintain access to health insurance and medications. In this role, you will assist case managers, healthcare providers, and program partners by providing enrollment support, resolving issues, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with program enrollment, eligibility, and renewals.
Answer questions and provide support to case managers and healthcare partners.
Research and resolve client and program issues.
Manage high-volume phone calls and emails.
Document case activity and follow up on open issues.
Work with internal teams, providers, and vendors to resolve concerns.
Support quality assurance and process improvement efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
At least 4 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
Experience using Microsoft Office and database or case management systems.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
