As a Security Officer Front Desk Driver in Portland, ME, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

1. Day Time Mon 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
2. Day Time Tue 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
3. Day Time Wed 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
4. Day Time Thur 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify visitor information, issue access credentials as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and/or unusual activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Support access control and other security-related operations by helping to deter unauthorized entry, observing camera and alarm activity when assigned, and reporting concerns or policy violations promptly.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence by answering questions, providing directions, handling routine administrative logs, and following confidentiality expectations common to a financial services environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
