Description

• Conduct assessments for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, creating personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy techniques focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise regimens
• Ensure thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress according to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in team care rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to maintain coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
