Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Physical Therapist Location: Texas Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Days | Outpatient Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals Design functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities and progress patients toward discharge within an established length of stay Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop clinical treatment plans using sound clinical reasoning Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional code of conduct and ethical standards Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives Why Join Us Work in a patient-centered outpatient environment with 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions, allowing for meaningful, individualized patient care Opportunity to support professional growth through continuing education, involvement in professional organizations, and an individualized professional development plan Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID #766579.
