As a Manager of Lifecycle Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing engagement strategies that drive meaningful interactions across both prospects and clients. As an individual contributor within the Growth Marketing team, this role blends strategy, analytics, and execution to improve engagement across the full lifecycle from initial consideration through long-term relationship building. You will lead the development and delivery of Lifecycle Marketing (LCM) programs that are directly tied to growth KPIs, driving measurable impact across conversion, engagement, retention, and referrals. This role is responsible for designing and optimizing data-driven, multi-channel journeys and leveraging insights to continuously enhance performance and business outcomes. Responsibilities Design and optimize end-to-end, multi-channel journeys (email, push, web, in-app) across the full funnel Develop responsive, ADA-compliant emails using HTML and CSS, with a focus on modular and scalable design Lead testing across messaging, cadence, targeting, and channels ensuring audience, email and experience align against expectations Report on performance and testing outcomes; translating data into actionable insight Drive continuous improvement of lifecycle marketing and email best practices through close partnership with Customer Insights, Product Marketing, Product & Technology, Brand, and Creative, advancing innovation, design excellence, and performance optimization. Requirements 5-7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, client marketing, or growth marketing Proven track record of driving measurable LCM outcomes Experience operating in a data-driven, performance marketing environment Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Adobe CDP, including journey orchestration, segmentation, and audience automation Practical knowledge of SQL-based data management and query development (e.g., data extensions, complex segmentation logic, and automation workflows) Experience integrating data sources (CRM, web, product data) to enable personalized marketing Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Cross‑functional leadership experience across Product, Analytics, Sales, and Digital teams Additional Qualifications (if Necessary) Functional knowledge of SQL Experience working with a Customer Data Platform (CDP) Experience working with CloudPages Proficiency with AMPscript Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics and how campaigns support broader business goals Skills And Competencies HTML & CSS Salesforce Marketing Cloud Marketing automation and lifecycle journey execution Attention to detail and quality assurance Collaboration and problem‑solving Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is below. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job‑related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
