Board-Certified Or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist

Alliance for Wellness is a well-established physician founded and physician-led psychiatric group serving the Southern since 2010.

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our diverse and seasoned group of Board-Certified Providers to support our San Diego County partners.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-patient psychiatric care, rounding in-person with support from a multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
• Provide collaborative and efficient patient care by utilizing the hospital EMR.
• Availability to provide telehealth services, treating patients via video/phone.
• Equipped to manage all aspects of Psychiatric care consults, psychiatric holds, discharge disposition, etc.

Position Details and Qualifications:

• Will be supporting Paradise Valley Hospital in San Diego, CA.
• Full-time coverage of Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and Behavioral Health Unit (BHU).
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (including daily BHU rounding and 4 hours of CSU coverage) and at least 1 weekend a month.
• Will see around at least 20 patients a day.
• Salary Package: $385,000 annually.
• Optional: CSU leadership and supervision of NPs, supported by the Regional Medical Director, with an additional $1,500 monthly leadership stipend.
• 1099 Independent Contractor preferred but is open for W2 employment.
