Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist

Join our team at Jackson HealthPros as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you'll function as a member of a cardiac team, expertly assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You'll ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• CST
• 2+ years of dedicated surgical experience
• Preparing, managing and maintaining the sterile field in the operating room while assisting surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses
• Confident CST abilities covering General, Orthopedic, Robotic, Urological, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT and Plastics

Assignment Details

• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Hours: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Start time may occasionally be 6:00 AM depending on cases.
• Early starts and late ends are rotated.
• Rotating regular call and back-up emergent call approximately 2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.
• No floating.
