Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait. What You Will Be Doing: You will own hardware designs for Helion's fusion generator prototypes. You will solve multidisciplinary engineering problems that are necessary for deploying fusion energy to the world and act as a culture driver on a growing team. You will report directly to our Manager of Mechanical Engineering, and this is an onsite role located at our Everett, WA office. You Will: Own and understand subsystem designs such as electromagnetic, structural, fluid, thermal and control systems, and improve their requirements Learn from historical engineering approaches, design novel hardware, and test your solutions Optimize sub-system and component designs to scale for high volume manufacturing Design fusion hardware within 3D CAD software (e.g. NX, Solidworks) Perform analysis with tools like ANSYS and hold design reviews to gather feedback and iterate #J-18808-Ljbffr
