Automation Engineers—interested in improving how a manufacturing line performs?

Helion is connecting with engineers for an upcoming on-site automation and process improvement assignment in Prince George, Virginia

We're looking for someone who can connect controls troubleshooting with production performance—understand the equipment, identify constraints, and help turn findings into practical improvements.

On-site: Prince George, VA

Anticipated pay: $70–$85/hour, depending on experience

Anticipated work includes:

  • Evaluating equipment operation, cycle times, and process flow
  • Identifying controls-related delays and production bottlenecks
  • Troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and field devices
  • Developing and implementing agreed controls improvements
  • Supporting time studies and documenting performance findings
  • Working with operations and maintenance to validate improvements

An automation or controls engineer with hands-on manufacturing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to explain how a technical change affects throughput, downtime, or consistency. xhyhwjd

Experience combining controls work with process improvement is especially valuable.
