Human Resources Director

Rock Hill, SC Up to $125,000 Base Salary + Benefits A growing and well-established construction company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of the HR function. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys wearing multiple hats, partnering with executive leadership, and building scalable people processes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is both strategic and operational, capable of developing HR initiatives while remaining actively involved in day-to-day employee support and business needs. Key Responsibilities Lead all Human Resources operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and employee engagement Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Manage compensation, benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and best practices Support recruiting and retention efforts for both field and office personnel Partner with managers to address employee relations matters and performance concerns Maintain HR systems, employee records, and reporting requirements Foster a positive and accountable workplace culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 7+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices Experience supporting a dynamic workforce in construction, manufacturing, trades, or similar industries preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Specialized Recruiting Group - York County / South Charlotte
