Job Requirements - LPN Qualifications

• Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of New Mexico (or compact state eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet assignment scheduling needs
• Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain prior to start

Responsibilities - Long-Term Care Nursing

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility policies
• Monitor, assess, and document resident health status and progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (RNs, CNAs, therapists, and physicians) to ensure quality resident care
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote comfort, dignity, and independence
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, facility protocols, and resident safety standards
