Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Springfield, IL, requiring active IL licensure and hands‑on interventional cardiac cath lab experience. Requirements Active IL RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI AHA cards not accepted) Minimum 1 year of interventional cardiac cath lab experience required Required clinical skills: Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Monitoring Procedural Sedation Cerner EMR experience required SSN and DOB required for consideration Responsibilities Acute care hospital setting — Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated facility with 562 staffed beds Assigned to the Cardiac Cath Lab unit (5-room unit) with an average daily census of 25 Day shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (0630–1900) Required to work 2–3 weekends per 13-week contract On-call required as needed Floating within scope is required, including potential float to an affiliate nearby hospital Required procedures include: Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Left Heart Catheterization, Right Heart Catheterization, and Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring Required medication experience: Procedural Sedation Administration and Monitoring Charting performed in Cerner (experience required) Scrubs are provided by the facility Free parking available on-site with a permit obtained during orientation First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted for this position Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays falling within the contract period RTO of up to 5 days is generally accommodable; requests exceeding 5 days require facility approval Schedule change requests should be discussed directly with the manager Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler Travel pairs are not accepted for this position Floating within the hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities is a requirement for all travelers in this role Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
