Join a team that keeps America grilling! Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company is searching for a Maintenance Technician to join the team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for a wide range of daily duties including inspection, maintenance, and repair of Vehicles equipment and systems and documentation of such tasks; all while maintaining safety, productivity and financial responsibility. Assists in developing preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment, and ensures schedules are adhered to and documented. Monitors equipment for unusual sounds to detect malfunction. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical issues. Assists in maintaining spare parts inventory. Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Provides technical information and operational guidance to production employees. Follows safety rules & procedures including OSHA standards and the Company Process Safety Management program. Performs and records periodic testing. Maintains a clear sense of priority and focus in support of team performance. Identifies improvements in the process's equipment. Assists leadership with problem resolution and correction of equipment deficiencies. Constantly considers long term upgrades / repairs. Additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training / technical degree a plus. 1+ years of maintenance / mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills. Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Mandatory overtime when necessary. Demonstrated track record of being a reliable and dependable worker. Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
