Catastrophe Response Team-Traveling Storm Adjuster (Resident)

Overview A Catastrophe Response Team Traveling Storm Adjuster position in Collinsville, IL. Adjuster works from home with a company vehicle and occasional travel within the region. Minimum starting base pay $23.82 – $33.38 per hour. Job Level: Individual Contributor. Responsibilities Investigate, analyze, evaluate, and settle insurance claims involving property damage losses. Specialize in adjusting property claims that require physical inspection and extensive travel. Determine claim value and negotiate settlements. Handle complex property losses with expertise in fraud detection and prevention. Perform required background checks, including Credit Bureau Report, Motor Vehicle Report, and Criminal Background Check. Qualifications Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Superior investigation, negotiation, communication, documentation, and customer service skills. Physical ability to travel long distances, lift/move/climb ladders, work outside in all temperatures, and inspect property physically. Must be able to travel overnight as required. Valid driver’s license with a good driving history. Ability to maintain schedules and deadlines; work well with others. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
