Construction Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Lumber Construction Foreman to oversee our multi-family construction project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead a team of skilled laborers and subcontractors, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork. Responsibilities Supervision: Oversee all lumber construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of carpenters and laborers, fostering a positive work environment. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Quality Control: Monitor construction processes to maintain high-quality standards and resolve any issues promptly. Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and work completion. Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions. Problem Solving: Identify and address potential obstacles or delays in the construction process, implementing solutions as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any incidents or delays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management or related field preferred. 2+ Proven experience as a foreman in lumber construction Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
