We are a level 3 LDR and see many high-risk patients. On this unit, we have an anesthesiologist and OB laborist on-site 24/7. Our patients are with us during their pregnancy, labor and delivery, and through the initial recovery period./pp*Referral Bonus Eligible/pp*Labor and Delivery experience preferred but not required/ppShifts:/pulliPart-time day shift; every 3rd weekend, holiday rotation./li/ulpNursing skills gained on this unit:/pulliCirculating in OB procedures in the OB OR/liliTriage of OB patients/liliManaging each phase of the pregnancy, delivery, and post-partum process/liliCollaborative work with physicians/li/ulpUnit Successes/Designations:/pulliAIM/Inspire Designation/liliAnthem Blue Distinction/liliLevel 3 care/li/ulpUnit Culture:/pulliMultiple committees available for involvement and growth/liliHigh level of autonomy/liliHighly collaborative with our physicians/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliRequires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred./liliEducation: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience.
