No prior insurance sales experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, communication skills, work ethic, and willingness to learn. We will provide training, coaching, and a structured path to develop the skills needed to become a successful insurance sales professional. This position may be full-time or part-time , in office or possibly hybrid, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in insurance, gain professional sales experience, or transition into a performance-based career with long-term growth potential. You will learn how to identify customer needs, conduct professional sales conversations, follow up with prospects, generate opportunities, and ultimately help customers protect what matters most. As your knowledge and skills develop, you will have the opportunity to take on greater sales responsibilities and increase your earning potential. RESPONSIBILITIES Learn and apply our agency's sales process and customer service standards. Contact prospective and existing customers by phone, text, and other approved communication methods. Develop leads and schedule sales appointments. Identify customer needs and uncover opportunities for additional insurance products. After achieving the appropriate licensing learn to quote and discuss Auto, Home, Renters, Life, Health, and other insurance products. Conduct professional, value-based conversations with prospective and existing customers. Follow up consistently with leads, referrals, quotes, and existing customers. Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records within agency systems. Participate in sales training, coaching, and performance reviews. Work toward established activity and production goals. Provide an exceptional customer experience while building long-term relationships. Contribute to a positive, competitive, and team-oriented environment. QUALIFICATIONS No previous insurance experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable speaking with customers and prospective customers by phone. Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with measurable activity and sales goals and accountability for results. Self-motivated and willing to work toward measurable goals. Coachable and willing to learn new sales techniques. Competitive, dependable, and results-oriented. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable using computers and learning new software. Ability to follow a structured daily schedule and sales process. Professional attitude and strong work ethic. PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED Previous sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, call center, or similar customer-facing experience. Experience working toward sales or performance goals. Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license. College coursework or degree. LICENSING & DEVELOPMENT Insurance licensing is an important part of developing into a full insurance sales role. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing to complete required licensing requirements within the timeframe established by the agency.
