Team Data Engineering Type Full-time Band $170k - $215k Location San Francisco or remote (UTC-8 to UTC+2) We reply within one week, either way. What we look for Deep experience with a modern warehouse and a transformation framework Has run a backfill that mattered and lived to describe it Treats data models as software, with tests and review Opinions about late-arriving data, ideally strong ones Not every line has to be a yes. No recruiter screen, no take-home before we have spoken. 02 A paid work session Four hours, paid at contractor rate, on a problem close to real work. You keep whatever you build. 03 A deep-dive on your craft Ninety minutes on something you have done before. We ask about the decisions and the parts that went wrong. 04 A decision within a week Offer or not, with written feedback either way. We have never taken longer and do not intend to start.
