Location: Fairmont, WV
Pay: Starting at $15.00/hour, with higher pay based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, plus every other weekend

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Shop Hand / Pipe Inspector in Fairmont, WV for a well-established company in the oil and gas industry.


This is a great opportunity for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual interested in oil and gas, pipe inspection, material handling, industrial work, or general labor . The position starts at $15.00 per hour , with the potential for higher pay based on experience, plus significant overtime and opportunities for career growth.


Candidates with an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical, or oil and gas background are encouraged to apply.

Shop Hand / Pipe Inspector Responsibilities

• Assist with pipe inspection and general shop operations .
• Perform general labor and industrial support duties.
• Handle, stage, and move pipes, materials, parts, and components.
• Perform material handling throughout the shop.
• Assist with doping and capping pipe as required.
• Safely handle and move energetic and non-energetic parts and components.
• Organize materials and prepare products for additional processing.
• Assist experienced shop and oilfield personnel as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and shop requirements.
• Complete additional shop, pipe handling, and general labor duties as assigned.

Shop Hand / Pipe Inspector Qualifications

• Previous industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, oil and gas, or general labor experience preferred.
• Oil and gas industry experience is a plus.
• Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working around pipe, industrial equipment, and materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds .
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and overtime as required.
