Job Opportunity – Telemetry Step-Down / IMCU Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Schedule: Step-down high acuity unit with patient ratios of 3-4:1 for IMCU and 5-6:1 for Telemetry/Medical-Surgical units with PCT assistance

Highlights:

• High acuity telemetry step-down unit providing post-ICU care
• Clinical responsibilities include managing drips, stable vents, and complex patient conditions (no vasopressor management)
• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Flexibility required to float to telemetry and medical-surgical units as needed
• Fast-paced environment ideal for independent, experienced clinicians
• Patient care technician support provided on all units

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state license with ability to obtain Georgia licensure
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in telemetry, step-down, or IMCU settings
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Willingness to float across telemetry and medical-surgical units
