Facility:
This flagship behavioral health service line serves as a primary teaching hospital and is one of the largest behavioral health organizations in Connecticut, serving over 2,500 individuals annually. The facility includes a 76-bed free-standing inpatient psychiatric service with adult, dual diagnosis, and child/adolescent services, as well as a comprehensive continuum of ED, consult-liaison, and outpatient services across multiple clinical sites throughout the Fairfield region.

Job Details:

• Serve as a clinical leader for inpatient adult psychiatric services within a multidisciplinary treatment team
• Provide the highest quality of psychiatric and substance use treatment
• Participate in patient care, resident supervision, and medical student teaching
• Join a mature and collegial faculty peer group with eligibility for academic appointment through an affiliated medical school
• Serve as faculty for a psychiatry residency program with dedicated academic time
• Monday through Friday schedule with no required on-call after hours
• Additional compensation opportunities available through voluntary night/weekend moonlighting if desired
