Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Case Manager for a 4x10 day shift contract at a hospital in Reidsville, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

• Position is located within a hospital setting in Reidsville, NC
• Case Management and Utilization Review unit
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Friday through Monday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Acute hospital experience required
• Experience in one or more of the following specialties required: ICU, Med/Surg, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, or Observation
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Experience with Case Management and Utilization Review required, including discharge planning, needs assessment, DME ordering, and plan of care
• Regulatory experience with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include discharge planning, needs assessments, ordering DME, and developing plans of care
• Charge experience is not required for this position
• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
