Automotive Salesperson - Preowned Car Sales - Sales Consultant

Overview ELCO Chevrolet Cadillacis excited to announcean immediate opening for a full time, Preowned Automotive Salesperson located at our dealership in Ballwin, MO. This position will be responsible for the sale ofused vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. Not only do we have the most generous pay plan in the St. Louis area, we also have an outstanding team of individuals. To join this team, we're looking for an experienced and motivated car sales consultant with a passion for cars and the ability to energize the customer! Responsibilities Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by askingquestions and listening carefully to their responses. Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or directionto any customer who enters the sales lot. Explains fully product performance, application, andbenefits to prospects and describes all optional equipment available for customerpurchase. Knows and understands equity and values, and is able toexplain depreciation to the customer. Completes sales orders and processes paperwork (including insurance information, trade title, etc.) to finance andinsurance manager. Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery andensures that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork. Introduces customers to service department personnel toemphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs andmaintenance available in the dealership's service department and schedulesfirst service appointment. Follows up on all post delivery items and maintains anowner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business andcontributes to customer satisfaction. Qualifications No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving recordin the past 3 years (DUI/DWI). Must have a valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years. Must bewilling to takea pre-employment drugscreening test. Must be authorized to work in the United States and notrequire work authorization sponsorship by our company for this positionnow or in the future.
