CT Technologist Opportunity In Altoona, PA

Become a vital part of our team as an experienced CT Technologist in Altoona, PA. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images that support patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography or radiography with CT registry eligibility as required by the facility.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT procedures and managing IV contrast administration per facility protocols.
• Experience operating modern multi-slice CT scanners and performing routine quality control checks.
• Ability to work in an acute hospital environment and follow established imaging and safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trauma or emergency department CT imaging.
• Previous experience in a hospital setting similar in acuity to a regional medical center.
• Additional certifications relevant to CT or advanced imaging modalities.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Any 8-hour shifts within a variable schedule.
• May include rotating coverage across a 24-hour schedule.
• 13 week assignment.
