In-Person Mental Health Therapist- Creole and Spanish Speaking Needed

$28 - $35 per hour

Salary: $28-$35

Multicultural Alliance Health Care Solutions (MAHCS) is currently seekingIn-Person Therapiststo provide culturally competent and community-based (home and school) individual and family therapy services. A large part of the caseload includes children and adolescents as well as adults, and clients located in Broward County.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate weekly therapy sessions with client/family
Maintain a minimum caseload of five clients
Complete progress notes, treatment plan reviews, FARS/CFARS, and discharge summaries following Medicaid standards
Complete monthly ChildNet reports
Prepare court reports as needed
Attend a minimum of monthly supervision with the MAHCS Clinical Supervisor
Communicate effectively with case managers, referrals sources, and the MAHCS team

REQUIREMENTS

Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy/Education (MHC, MSW, MFT) (Required)
Bilingual Spanish
Ability to complete clinically and grammatically correct documentation
Practical experience with therapeutic models including play therapy, solution focused, and CBT
Must be fully licensed or a Registered Intern licensed with the State of Florida.
At least one year experience working with children who demonstrate behavioral concerns (Preferred)
Certified in Trauma focused therapy and/or play therapy (Preferred)
