You will be integral in providing high-quality, accurate images that inform vital treatment decisions, all while nurturing a sense of security and calm for your patients. From performing complex scans that contribute to life-altering diagnoses to offering supportive words during challenging times, your contributions will be pivotal. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to secure detailed diagnostic images for medical evaluations
- Team up with radiologists and healthcare professionals to enhance diagnostic accuracy
- Skillfully position patients and optimize equipment settings for ideal imaging results
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff alike
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the imaging journey
- Foster a safe, efficient, and well-organized imaging workspace
- Completion of an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Graduation from a recognized radiology program
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Active BLS certification or ability to secure it within three months of employment
- Expertise in imaging protocols and radiation safety procedures
- Strong communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt swiftly to diverse challenges
- An eye for detail and a commitment to accountability
- Comfort in utilizing PACS, RIS, and advanced imaging software
