Staff Accountant

Job Summary A temporary Staff Accountant opportunity is available in Fresno, CA for an experienced accounting professional with strong multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership skills. This role is well suited for a detail-oriented accountant who enjoys supporting accurate financial operations, strengthening accounting processes, and partnering with leadership on business-critical reporting. The Staff Accountant will play an important role in month-end close, year-end close, GAAP compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage and review the work of the accounting team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of accounting tasks. Oversee accounting processes for multiple entities, including month-end close and year-end close activities. Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for senior management review. Ensure accounting practices follow GAAP, company policies, and internal control requirements. Collaborate with leadership to support strategic financial decisions and operational reporting needs. Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and team efficiency. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour. Job type: Contract/Temporary.
