Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Our organization is excited to announce a full-time position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology team in Clinton, Iowa.

We are looking for CRNAs to deliver anesthesia services through scheduled shifts or on-call coverage. The responsibilities include:

• Administering general anesthesia
• Providing anesthesia for various surgical procedures, including pediatric, cardiac, thoracic, obstetric, and outpatient surgeries
• Offering intravenous sedation, regional blocks, and conductive anesthesia for inpatients, surgical outpatients, and emergency care patients

• Immediate availability
• Independent practice
• Attractive base salary with bonus potential
• Eligibility for loan repayment program
• Convenient location: 2 hours from Chicago, 90 minutes from Iowa City, and 2.5 hours from Madison, Wisconsin, situated along the Mississippi River
• Focus on routine cases: OB, regional blocks, and central lines; no cardiac or cranial procedures

CRNAs at our facility also engage in:

• Conducting pre-evaluation anesthesia services
• Monitoring patients post-surgery for any anesthesia-related complications
• Responding promptly to emergency codes

Our CRNAs collaborate closely with the OR leadership team, anesthesia providers, clinical staff, surgeons, and perioperative personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care while adhering to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards. They also oversee hospital-wide moderate sedation and participate in peer review processes.

• Base salary of $286,720
• Sign-on bonus of $90,000

With around 50,000 patient admissions annually, we provide a wide array of services to meet the healthcare needs of our bi-state community. Our two main campuses feature 249 licensed beds.

In addition to standard hospital services, we offer both inpatient and outpatient care for acute and chronic conditions, including renal dialysis and oncology services. Our facility is equipped with advanced technology, such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, and PET scan services. We are a level IV trauma center with a level II nursery, five operating rooms, and two catheterization labs, with tertiary care available at a nearby university.
