Exceptional candidates with strong workers' compensation defense experience may be considered for a remote arrangement. Note: You must be an active member of the California Bar in good standing and have at least 1 year of litigation experience. Job Description Handle workers' compensation defense matters through all stages of litigation Attend hearings, manage discovery, take and defend depositions, and support motion practice Draft reports, pleadings, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents Evaluate claims, analyze exposure, and help develop effective defense strategies Communicate proactively with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and team members Work closely with experienced attorneys who provide mentorship and training Partner with dedicated support staff to produce high-quality, timely work Build a long-term practice with a firm in growth mode and a strong reputation in the market Qualifications Active California Bar license in good standing 1+ year of litigation experience required Workers' compensation defense experience preferred, but not required Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills Motivated, professional, and able to manage cases and deadlines effectively Comfortable with technology and modern case management tools Why You Will Love Working Here We invest in our attorneys and give them the support to succeed.
