Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 9 weeks 37.5 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary CT Technologist CT Specialty Location This position entails performing computed tomography (CT) procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure accurate and consistent imaging. The role involves executing safety and quality assurance measures, maintaining documentation, and verifying radiopharmaceutical doses under the organizations standards. Job Details Position Description: Requires the utilization of appropriate kilovolt (kV) and milliampere (mA) techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images. Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment to ensure proper functionality before patient studies. Injects patients with radioactive material following physician orders according to prescribed protocols. Maintains all departmental documentation, logs, manuals, and reports equipment issues to comply with regulatory agencies. Conducts quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests, following radiation safety guidelines to adhere to the As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principle. Maintains and develops patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation. Orders patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior and verifies proper receipt on delivery day, confirming activity levels before administration. Required Qualifications: Graduate of a JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology; New York State License (L.R.T); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified); ARRT certification in Radiography and CT; at least 1 year of CT experience; BLS certification; Schedule: Overnight shift, 12 am to 8 am, 7.5 hours per shift, minimum 37.5 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Not specified. Additional Information: Requires CT certification and injection certification. May also involve x-ray work overnight, midnight to 8 am.
